Our Accessibility Target

Student Loan Angel identifies the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as its accessibility target and commitment for review and improvement. This target is not a claim of current or perfect conformance, any testing cadence, or completed remediation.

Current Status and Improvement Plan

On 2026-08-25, we completed an initial automated and manual review of representative English and Spanish public pages and documented authenticated borrower and case-management risks. The review found barriers that may affect form completion, status announcements, keyboard and screen-reader use, document uploads, and content reflow. We are addressing shared navigation and page foundations first, followed by public forms, borrower workflows, and staff case-management tools. Automated checks are used to catch detectable regressions, but they do not replace testing with assistive technology or people with disabilities.
